Wolfanoz 128gb Batocera “12K” rPi 4b image – Dual stick games?

I’m sorry if this has been asked to death, but I’m relatively new to the scene. This is a great img – has all my favorites. 

I’ve researched the web, YT and the AP forums with no success. Is there a way to somehow configure just the mame rom for Robotron 2084 to utilize the player 1 and player 2 sticks. The Batocera settings doesn’t seem to permit game-specific mapping (unless i’m totally missing it). I pull up Robotron Atari 7800 and it works perfectly without configuration. Any help with this is greatly appreciated!
