Hi,

I have managed to get the game Robin Hoods Quiz Quest Touchscreen Quiz Game by Aladdin, up and running on my PC. I was able to copy and paste wgpcomm.dll from other games such as Spot the Difference (this may help someone else).

I am now trying to actually play the game!

How am I able to bypass the insert credits screen so I can start playing the game?

I have the following touchscreen apps (placed and run each one individually in the games folder):

Indie_Sim(Credits)-Aladdin
ITBox.Emu(Credits)-Aladdin
ItBoxServ (£40 edition) New 2018 – Aladdin
ITBoxSERV(Credits)-Aladdin
ITBoxSERVER(credits)-Aladdin
Platform.Emu(Credit)-Aladdin

Each one seems to run fine but doesn't seem to affect the game…

I have tried changing the "PriceOfPlay" file in the games folder to 0.01 or 0 to no avail.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? Please help!

Hi there. What os are you running, and have you placed the DLL files into the correct location. You as also could try downloading my new pack that has all the games pre configured in simpletouchFe, and there is now no need to put files into the system.

Hi, thanks for the quick response!

I am on Win10 64bit.

I can get the INDE games and a fair few itbox games working.

It is the games which require the dll's which seem to have trouble applying the credits…

I have included the 3 types of wgpcomm.dll's in the Robin Hood's Game folder itself; Is this correct?

Is this new pack to download on the "PC Touchscreen Apps" webpage?

I assume the robin hood game is a "GW" Games Warehouse game; the "ATTRACTS-SimpleTouchFE-Games.Warehouse" link says it is no longer available…

I want to try to input "luac.out awp hires b00 system" in the parameters box, how can I find this parameter box??

Ty so much for the help, would be amazing to play the robin hood game! Your work here is greatly appreciated!!

If you are on facbook. Look for "touchscreen machines" then look for my posts you will see a new link for complete game packs with many updates, even a new version of simpletouch Fe, also the benefit of real time help.

No, not yet, but like Aladdin said, check out the FaceBook group and you can jump on board!

Okay cool!! Not been on fb for awhile, is it a closed or public group, shall I reference something if closed and requires request?

Re. "luac.out awp hires b00 system" needed for some games, is it a file I need to alter to enter it in the parameters box?

If not sure i'll try get hold of someone in real time chat!

Hi eddinator,

The parameter box is a feature in Simpletouch FE, which is the easiest way to do it, (you literally type the sentence into a box), especially if you want to end up with lots of working games in a pretty front end. That said,  I believe that if you create a shortcut to the game's exe, you can add the parameter to the end of it.

eg shortcut to "pinkpanther.exe luac.out awp hires b00 system"

Hope it helps,

Dave

Also about under 200 of the games run on Windows 10.
