What do you need to know about SimpleTouch? It is very easy to set up, what problems are you having? What cannot you do?
Each config has it's own folder, called config1 config2 etc
You use the admin tool and click config 1, give it a name such as Quiz Machines
Add games and you are away, you can either point to the program directory, or have short cuts in folders.
On some programs you might need to pre run things such as hitbox etc, but again you just click pre load, find the program and bang.
It really is that simple lol
If you need me to do a video, I can whack one out for.

Sorry, I clicked on the wrong link on facebook, someone was asking for help on there and I think I came here by mistake, also someone was asking for help on another thread.
I know that there is an easyish solution to this, however, if you are using simple touch fe, you would want to be more selective of games, rather than mass importing every game that is rubbish.
E.G I download everything for the cabinet, but if I was using simple touch, then I would want just the best roms.
Which in turn takes time and dedication to set up.
I have been focused on skinning rather than adding roms to be honest, even though I have thought about it, but as I have said it is just too much work to sort the good from the bad, so why do it?
You have front ends for emulation, people are creating XML for the best of and doing the hard work for us, barring some dodgy choices.
As you will know Simple Touch uses exe, bat or lnk files to run, so you would have to do something.
I am thinking of the solution I would use, but it is annoying me, as I know it could be done and I think I have seen on youtube videos of where people have got roms installed.
I just had a look and found this but it looks like he is pressing Nintendo, then it is going to a file directory, but the MAJOR part of that, is that he is clicking on the files and they are loading.
Which to me, means that he has used file association to run the game, which is what is in my head but it is like wanting to say something, but you cannot put it into words, I know a workaround, but I don't.

Mark, good point on being more selective. However, it is really geared to my kids, who both have a cheap touch screen laptop($100 at Walmart–good score!!), and since I don't know what would really interest them, it makes sense to add as many as possible for them to determine which ones are worthy. I can add in literally hundreds of super nintendo and genesis roms, and it won't take up too much space on the memory cards they use.  Obviously, if adding something like a Playstation iso, which takes up a lot of space, you really have to pick and choose in those cases.
