So when trying to download a torrent file that was an NZB, I get an XML file instead. This never happened before a few weeks ago. Has something changed or worse, am I really just this stupid. I go to this site for EVERYTHING, curtesy of DrewTalks, but I don't find the XML files to be of any use to me when I use NZB's anytime possible. Can anybody assist this fool? much appreciation and many thanks in advance!

Or try dragging and dropping the file into your usenet client

I'm having this problem too.  I'm new to Usenet, so it could be user error!

I've set up alt binz and my usenet provider as per the instructions, but whenever I click on a NZB link on any of the downloads pages, it doesn't open up an NZB file, I just get an .xml file that opens in an IE window..  I cannot right click and 'open with', and I cannot drag the link into alt binz or my usenet client.

I'm trying to download Harrison Hacks PS2 packs, and I'm guessing that using torrents will be a nightmare.   Can anyone give me any pointers.

Cheers.

Just to add to this, I've attached some images.

You can see when I hover over the NZB link, the pop up shows that it is a .NZB file.  When I click on the link however, you can see it ask if I want to save or open a .xml file.  Whichever way I do it, I end up opening a .xml file in an Internet Explorer window.

I read the NZB help file and watched the video.  I've set up alt binz as per the instructions, and I've got my newsnet client up and running.  I just cant seem to open any .NZB files.

Any ideas?

Many thanks in advance.
