i have had this on my computer for a while now and kind of forgot about it

today is the first time i tired launching it first time since reinstalling my windows in dec its black screen right now

but i think i edited the display res.EXE to something like 640×480 or else 800×600(anything bigger doesn’t work) and then i used dgVoodooCpl to upscaled the rest to 1080p

in order for this to work you need to pull display res.EXE from arrays to the main folder tell you do this you cannot change the game Res of Polybius

the fallowing files need to be in the main folder to upscale this game to be complete

config.cfg, “D3DImm.dll, d3drm.dll, DDraw.dll, dgVoodoo.conf, dgVoodooCpl.exe,” display res.EXE, dnes_fix.ini, POLYBIUS 6-1.EXE

if you see the amount of subliminal messaging is one of the reasons i don’t really play it, i paused and recorded 99% of the message i picked up in limited game play i think all subliminal messaging can be turned off in the option menu i displayed at the start of the game but i would consider this this be part of an MK-Ultra experment

as far as my research goes i believe this machine was only in 3 arcades if i was correct

the company worked on a 25 year military contract from 1981 – 2006 you can check the internet archives and you can see the site only started operating in 2006 and this is when they also talked about wrapping up there contract to get back to making video games
