CoinOps for PC from the creators.... "FORGOTTEN WORLDS"

From one of the creators/devs of CoinOps comes FORGOTTEN WORLDS, CoinOps for the PC, and beyond! BritneysPairs brings this awesome front end, simple and easy to set up and with all the awesome force of COINOPS behind the hood, running simply and easily on a very budget machine, its about time the true pioneers of arcade front ends brought force to the PC.

BritneysPairs declared on the CoinOps forums:-

I wished to move on from the Xbox so I could take advantage of 15 years of progress in Emulation and Video/CRT/Scanline effects….I tried the PI3 and others and although they where good I found these didn’t take advantage of 15 years of progress and limited me in many ways….

I had the following vision

Move Arcades on to the latest standard
Move the video Effects to the latest standard
Make sure its as easy to use as the Xbox
Make sure it looks better than the Xbox
Make sure it works on low spec devices
Quality over Quantity
Family Friendly
Setup for Common controllers

In the end the PC came up trumps (although this is easy to port to Linux or PI3)…there was so much on PC and it really does have so much…after looking a lot I found it lacked the quality feel I was after and went for quality every time. So I set myself a journey to achieve the above goals….with the help of many like jonny555 I found Quality could be achieved and I went to work…..

Ninja reskining is on its way and whole new GUI is being worked on….a solid build I would arguable use over the Xbox for a Cabinet is now ready…and it plays the latest Arcade emulation has to offer…
