We all like to squeeze a little more “oomph” out of our Pi, especially when laden with the awesome HyperPie 2 Pi edition, so this awesome fella named Eddy from the HP team, has re-encoded the system snaps to prevent a bit of laggy-ness!
“I have re-encoded all hyperpie2 system snaps which should run a lot smoother on pi without lag. I know most already have everything setup. These are all older codec that runs smooth on pi(xvid) rather than h.264 codec which can be a little more CPU intensive.”.-Eddy
Simply overwrite the snaps in /home/pi/.attract/menu-art/snap
