Its here – our FIRST EVER System update, read on below to find out what this does (and why) – in our opinion this is a fantastic update and whilst it does not include any new systems it ‘sorts out’ all your existing installs and ‘plays it safe’…..
Firstly we have replaced all the FLV videos with MP4 – this prevents the dreaded grey exclamation mark, which can occur up to 1 week of running the system, if at all. But anyway we much prefer mp4 over FLV any day!
We require you to remove all the FLV files from the installation (more on that easy task later)…
Secondly we have CLEANED UP all the wheels with replacing artwork where appropriate and adding artwork and the like – This was done manually through every current wheel to date, we’ve also removed ‘disc 2s’ from all wheels, all in all near on 6 hours of playing about to get it right.
On the James Bond theme, we have replaced the default theme so you can see the wheels a little easier (if you have it installed). We also went through some major changes getting rid of the boring ‘box’ wheels and putting in ‘title’ wheels, throughout the systems.
We’ve also changed the intro video – something we are just going to drop into various packs as a bit of a surprise, this is a just for fun thing, and we’d love to hear your feedback on the intro videos – this intro video is retro and Simpsons based, flowing into Modern and Mortal Kombar based……
TIME TO DELETE ALL YOUR .FLV FILES
Whilst this sounds bothersome its really not, open up a folder for the root of D:\ – go to the top right corner of the opened folder and tye *.flv (thats ASTERIX DOT F L V) as per this image..
Once the search starts, give it a few minutes and the screen will be full of the drives .flv files, now select them all (by pressing CTRL + A) and then RIGHT CLICK and select DELETE.
Yes its safe to delete all the *.flv from the D: drive (Your Hyperspin Installation Drive).
Make sure its your Bolt-On Drive (D:)!
NOW LETS INSTALL THIS..
1 – Simply download the files, then paste them in the root of D:\
2- RIGHT CLICK the first file and select EXTRACT HERE , when prompted select YES TO ALL (to overwrite).
3- Thats it, you are now all installed, give your cabinet a reboot and enjoy
