This is a fantastic add-on pack for ColPipes1978s amazing LaunchBox No Intro Collection released back in March (2018) – and not to be confused with his latest Attract Mode (PC) Front End “All Hits No Shit”.  The Taito Type X add-on is just under 43gb compressed.

Like any good launchbox install, you cant go wrong upgrading to BigBox to get the full front end experience, but hell, you’re gonna be wayyyy too busy playing games!

Instructions

1) Download and extract folders to your install drive. Please note that this is different to other packs as it should be applied to the root of D Drive.

2) Add the following to your Global Emulators.ini (Located in RocketLauncher/ Settings

[Taito Type x]

Emu_Path=

Rom_Extension=exe|bat

Module=..\PCLauncher\PCLauncher.ahk

Pause_Save_State_Keys=

Pause_Load_State_Keys=

Virtual_Emulator=true

3) The controls are set to xbox 360 pad. You can edit these in each game by clicking on ttx_config2.0 or Jconfig .exe within the game folders.exe

4) Play and enjoy

Note this uses Game Loader RH which some Anti-viruses will flag. This is a false positive and needs to be added to your AV exempt list.

If you have installed Ex-Emu Board you don’t need to do anything

KNOWN ISSUES

You may have to run each game once before it boots properly to install “booking keeping”files

On Windows 10, after starting the OS, black screen may be displayed at the first execution of each game or the screen may not be displayed correctly. The above problem has improved to some extent from Game Loader All RH (301) on and after.

Changing Hardware can cause some games not to boot or crash

Bluetooth devices may prevent games from starting. My headset, which is Bluetooth, prevents games from loading.

Some users may experience issue with multi monitor setups. I cant test as only have single monitor.

Some games may not boot or crash for some users.
