The multi-talented, over skilled, Mr “Im-not-releasing-anything-else” Marti has just dropped a fantastic Emulation Station theme which we think is worth checking out, based upon the great front-end ‘Maximus Arcade’ and very easy and clear this is one theme, we know some of you will be stepping up to.
One of the first gaming front-ends I used on my PC was called Maximus Arcade. It was pretty simple in looks…but it worked great. Since Emulation Station has the new features where we can manipulate the carousel now, I decided to recreate it for RetroPie use. This is version 1.0 release of Maximus Pie. The theme supports video previews and marquees. I’ve included support for the four new “virtual systems” also that are forth-coming. –David Marti (creator)
There are 77 systems currently supported ( 3do, amiga, amigacd32, amstradcpc, apple2, arcade, atari2600, atari5200, atari7800, atari800, atarijaguar, atarilynx, atarist, auto-allgames, auto-favorites, auto-lastplayed, c64, colecovision, cps1, cps2, cps3, custom-collections, daphne, dreamcast, famicom, fba, fds, gameandwatch, gamegear, gb, gba, gbc, gc, genesis, intellivision, kodi, mame, mastersystem, megacd, megadrive, megadrive-japan, msx, msx2, n64, nds, neogeo, nes, ngp, ngpc, pc, pcengine, pcenginecd, pixel, ports, psp, pspminis, psx, retropie, saturn, scummvm, sega32x, segacd, sfc, sg-1000, sgfx, snes, tg16, tg16cd, vectrex, vic20, videopac, videopac2, virtualboy, wonderswan, wonderswancolor, zmachine, zxspectrum ) with no doubt many more updates in the pipeline.
