Nesbox Emulator for XBox One v4 - Play NES, SNES, GENESIS/MEGADRIVE, GAMEBOY and GBA Games on your XBOX 1

Back in September the Reddit community were sharing how to play NES, SNES, GENESIS (MEGADRIVE) , GAMEBOY and GAMEBOY ADVANCE games on your Xbox One console…. It seems that there are still LOADS of people out there who arent doing this simple trick – as we have been asked 4 times in the past few days if its possible… So here you go guys….

1: Put the EXTRACTED Roms to your onedrive account (the one linked with your Xbox Account)

2: on your Xbox One go to the Edge and open the URL bar and type nesbox.itch.io/x1

3: opens a page (recommended to make it your home page if you don’t surf the web on your xbox like me)

4: Click start and switch controls to the webpage controls

5: click add rom from onedrive

6: Select the unpacked Rom files you want

7: Might give you an error but click ok. refresh the page (if the roms dont auto load up on the list)

8: Click Full Screen

9: Click Start and change controls back to the Game controls

10: Enjoy life!

Notes: When in the OneDrive page (using web controls) click B to refresh if needed

ROM FILE EXTENSIONS

These are the recognised rom file extensions – be sure to have them UNZIPPED on OneDrive.
.smc (Super Nintendo)
.nes (NES)
.gba (Game Boy Advance)
.gbc (Game Boy Color)
.gb (Game Boy)
.gen (Sega Genesis)
.bin (Sega Genesis)
.smd (sega Genesis)

This content is 6 years old. Our own (ad funded) seedboxes will seed for at least 90 days, then its down to the community to keep things seeded.
