PlayBox Raspberry pi 3b/3b+ Base image from 2play - Conceptual High Study Front End

We havent seen much of 2Play for a while, because he has been extremely busy make PLAYBOX, a base image for various systems such as this Raspberry Pi image, tinker, RockPro64 and even PC! It is pre configured so to make your life easier, in case you are not familiar with Retropie (Emulation Station) – Just drop your romsets/rom folders with art and gamelist into it, restart ES and get ready 2Play! 🙂 It supports 90+ working systems, 11 more to be added in the future, has 2 custom new themes created by 2Play, called 2Play-Systems & 2PlayWalls that support 110+ themed systems and genre collections.

1st Boot Info:
Burn and let it reboot twice automatically to expand the filesystem.
It will take you straight to ES Controller configuration.

The Raspberry base (as the rest) is created from scratch on a clean Raspbian OS Stretch full image. It includes the desktop so you can use it as a mini Linux PC, access it remotely via VNC client.
The user is “pi” and the password is “PlayBox”. It has a clean install of RetroPie, custom new and old scripts, keyboard free access 99%, updated fully OS etc. One of the pros is the new cleaner RetroPie Menu and the 2Play PlayBox Toolkit superscript that will help you to maintain your PlayBox at top condition and solve your problems!

The versions:
**Full**: This version has all features!
**Lite**: This version has the default Kodi install with ONLY 3 add ons:
KodiPlex Connect to enable Plex server connection if you have one
Indigo set to auto cleanup at start
PVR Client add on for ppl with mp3 IPTV lists.
Exit back to ES is now fast and Kodi setup simple as that!
Special Attract Mode HyperPie 2.5.1 stayed with my custom setup for those want to use it BUT no video snap (/homepi/.attract/menu-art/snap) media artwork in the main menu. 3GB extra free space!
You can add if you wish … I m including a txt file 5KB with the names of the snaps needed.

After 6 months of work and development now it’s yours to enjoy!
