At the end of 2017 Regalad dropped an image on us that was, well, very hard to contain the excitement of! Now with a couple of months to play about with the v3 build nicknamed “The Best Mix” the man is back at it again, with a V4 version (and dropped The Best Mix from the title!).
The attract mode side is totally new.
Now you have your systems into categories (Arcades, Consoles, Handhelds, Computers and Collections). It s more easy and efficient to navigate in. I tried to make the most completed systems image i can. So i add many systems in each categories. I also create a brand new system and menu display.
I took some arts and backgrounds of the excellent “Cosmo” theme and some function of “Game station HD” or “Super display”.
Wrote a new script, make some snaps and backgrounds and here it is the “Régalad display” and “menu system”. Listbox, wheel, both at the same time, add a clock, hide or show systems bezels… do whatever you want !
You also have full-screen Hyperpie systems snaps on system menu and a lot of MAME hyperspin theme in the arcades systems.
The arcade set is the MLP 2500.
The Computers sections group “Computers systems” and systems will need a keyboard for playing.
This image is overclocked at 1300. This image is also shrunk so it will fit on most 128gb sd card. A brand new 64gb V4 is also coming too. I just want to thank s my French team “shadow_pi” and “We’re dirty Gaming”. New project are coming soon…. Régalad
INSTRUCTIONS
1/Install
————–
-Unrar files
-Burn the “.img” file with Win32DiskImager (WIN) or appbaker (MACOS)
-Put the sd card on your rapsberry pi
-Turn on the devrice (if Emulation Station do not appear after 5 mins reboot your device)
-Registrer your control
-Go to “Retropie” them “raspi-config”
-Press “expand file system”
-Reboot
2/ Attract mode

-Go to “Retropie” them “swith to attract mode”
-Press “select” on your gamepad or “tab” on an USB keyboard
-Go to “Control”
-Replace my control by your device control (without erasing keyboard control)
3/ Disclaimer

-This image file is already overcloked by 1300.
I never have any issue but if you don t want to overclock your device follow this steps (It s your choice not mine):
*Copy/paste the “config.txt” file into the “Boot” section when your sd card
was burn and plug into your computer (windows or macos)
*Do (replace file)
