So you’ve downloaded a nice little image from the internet, you got it configured lovely with your controller on your raspberry Pi, but it hasnt got that system you played as a kid, for example the NES, so you gotta download a NES romset on your computer, transfer it over to your card, then get the media, then transfer that, then you gotta….. WAIT… Why not just add a fantastic script that lets you automatically download the roms and media and appear on your menu when you reboot… Yes this exists, welcome to “ZT.Rom.and.Packs.Downloader.Script” by TeamZT.
EDIT : PLEASE READ THIS UPDATE – REQUIRED FOR THIS
In the video above we show you how easy it is to install this script to your current installation, we chose to use the Damian 16gb Dreamcast image , a non-motion blue image, so we need to enable the gameslist (see this video how-to on our YouTube Channel) and this works brilliantly – in some instances you may need to switch on the emulator in Retropie too, (again we have this video for this on our YouTube channel)
You’ll need to head over to TeamZTs FaceBook page to get this script to copy and paste into Putty, find the links below.
