Throughout the games, secrets are revealed about the players’ past lives, and it is up to Decim to decide who deserves a second chance, and who will be sent to the void for eternity.

Kakegurui
Released in 2017, this Japanese anime series is set within a school for the world’s richest children. It’s a place where money and power go hand-in-hand. By day, the school teaches regular subjects, but by night, it turns into a shady casino, where students are educated in money and mind games.
The story revolves around Yumeko Jabami, an inexperienced transfer student who decides to try her hand at the games, risking enslavement if she loses. Battling against elite gamblers, Yumeko’s reckless play style proves difficult to beat, and she gradually becomes enticed by the thrill of the game.

Sword Art Online
Sword Art Online is based on a novel series by Reki Kawahara. The adapted anime series has become incredibly popular, yet remains divisive among fans for its controversial plot points. It follows a brave protagonist who finds himself trapped within a virtual world, taking on the avatar handle ‘Kirito’. The only way to escape the brutal, medieval world is to complete all 100 levels of the game, dealing with vicious and gruesome monsters along the way. Some players become allies, while others are foes, who will do anything to gain the upper hand – including murdering their fellow players.
