Pre-requisites:

1. You’ve had to or can install Launchbox on your PC (especially if it’s a new PC). Just don’t override this build (and keep a copy of it) – you’ll see why below.
2. To get the fancy custom Launchbox Theme and Fancy BigBox custom theme, you need a Launchbox licence. It’s cheap and DRM, meaning you can use it on as many of YOUR PCs as you like! The splash screen video also comes along with the paid Launchbox version (BigBox is then unlocked). So if you have BigBox now, you can use that licence on this build as well. Copy your licence file into the root of this build, start up LB or BB, and it should just work!2a—This build LB also has a few tricks up its sleeves. It has baked-in third-party marquee support that supports animated marque screens for those with more than one screen. This also has per-game video grabbing; Emumovies can be a hit/miss affair, so as you build up your library, this might be a good tool.
3. Controllers – build was tested on PS4 controller, keyboard, Logitech Extreme 3d pro flight stick, IPAC, Thrustmaster HOTAS Flight Stick However, there are literally thousands of setups out there and some have 1 controller some have 4/5 like me. Since Retroarch drives the bulk of the build, it should auto-configure to get you up and running…however….You will need to make your own tweaks/adjustments and custom profiles to suit your setup—you can imagine there is no limit on what’s out there. There are tonnes of YouTube videos on configuring the emulators especially Retroarch! Otherwise here is a retroarch manual – https://docs.libretro.com/guides/input-and-controls/#game-controllersThere will be some systems you may need to go into each emulator to modify the joystick for, they are as follows: * Teknoparrot – you’ll also need to point where the game executable depends on where you place the build, e.g. d: drive, etc. * CXBX reloaded for Xbox * RPSC3 – each game has custom configs, so you right-click on that game in RPSC3 emulator menue to select and change it to your setup. * Model 2 – potentially requires per-game config * Model 3 – potentially requires game config *Windows games – so so many different options
4. Graphics—technically, for release, I’ve chosen very conservative settings. Play around/bump these up to your liking and system limitations. The same goes for audio.

Have fun! its a good base build for you to drop in your own emulator preferences, settings and the like. Whilst I like Batocera and Retrobat I love LB/BB and the ability to modify it to my liking – so here I am sharing my personal build.
