This is a curated NES FC ROM Pack covering the Nintendo Entertainment System, the original Family Computer (Famicom), and the Famicom Disk System. It’s built for quick setup and smooth browsing, with tidy names, consistent metadata and a clean wheel out of the box.
The goal is simple: a complete, usable set that feels good to navigate and plays well on modern emulators without you having to wrestle with filenames, mismatched dumps or oddball mappers.
What You’re Getting
HyperSpin-formatted ROM sets with a matching HyperSpin XML. Drop the files in alongside your preferred emulator and your wheel, titles and categories line up immediately. No manual renaming. No dead entries.
Thanks for downloading my ROM pack.
For easiest installation, simply copy all files into the same location as your favorite emulator.
All ROMs have been tested and are working.
If any ROMs will not work with your favorite emulator please try it with another one.ROMs have also been renamed to match the Hyperspin XML file included.
I hope these ROMs bring back many happy memories.
Thanks once again!

What’s Inside
NES (NTSC-U/C & PAL): staple releases, best-of alternates and sensible revisions for smooth play at 60 Hz (and 50 Hz where appropriate).
Famicom (NTSC-J): Japanese exclusives and early versions that never made it to the West, noted where controls or text differ.
Famicom Disk System (FDS): classics and curios that took advantage of the disk format’s saves and revisions.
Hardware Quirks & Emulator Notes
Timing: NES/Famicom are 60 Hz; PAL NES is 50 Hz. Set your emulator timing to match the region for correct speed, audio pitch and physics.
Mappers: Titles rely on different cartridge mappers (e.g., MMC1/MMC3). Use a current core or emulator with solid mapper support to avoid crashes or missing graphics.
FDS BIOS: Disk games require the FDS BIOS. Point your emulator at a legally obtained BIOS file before launching FDS titles.
How It’s Organised
Entries are grouped by system and region, with consistent naming to match the included XML. Where multiple revisions exist, the most stable or widely recommended build is prioritised for front-and-centre browsing.
Who It’s For
Speedrunners who want predictable timing, collectors who appreciate a tidy, complete wheel, and casual players after five-minute nostalgia without the setup faff.
Quick Start
Copy the pack beside your emulator, select the system in your frontend, and play. You can layer in artwork or themes later—this set is ready to go as-is.
