A little revamp of the original Arcade Classics image from April 2020, FlavioB brings back The Arcade Classics for your Raspberry Pi 3/3b – perfect for a quick pre-Christmas fire up and play!
Mr B says:-
There’s little console games on it, only some games that could be cool to play in an arcade. Arcades sections is grinded only with playable games, remove like 70% of a full set and don’t recall any missing game, so I got full covered and 16gb it’s a ready cheap way to have this image ready set up, the theme is made by me in the resolution this image runs, 720, in order run smooth with scanlines shader and overlay.
Cons: it parse gamelists only so you can’t insert games without editing the gamelists.xls, because had to be that way, kind of a workaround solution to use 2 images per game, I’m using video list here.
Just a few more configs and ready to upload.
The best part is you just have to burn the image and setup the controls, all games are remap properly, as the theme shows, this part took me a lot of time, so I’ll never again have to remap mk games ever.
Highly advise using USENET (NZB) to download this, it’ll come SCREAMING down your line if you use one of our approved UseNet suppliers – see this page for more information. Note if your usenet (nzb) client is claiming there is a password then you need to use a different client – we DO NOT share password protected archives unless otherwise informed.
If using torrent we highly recommend using TIXATI on larger images as can handle large chunks BIGGER and FASTER!!
