The Retro Arcade Portal, Addon 004 arrives with a completely different energy from the earlier packs. Instead of focusing on one era or one mood, this update pulls together a full range of genres and platforms. It drops arcade hits, classic 8 bit adventures, rhythm favourites, fighting series crossovers, racing legends, 360 era showpieces and even a collection of in programme radio stations. It is a strange mix on paper, but once loaded into Retro Arcade Portal it feels like a late night treasure hunt through gaming history.

This addon is made for players who jump between styles without thinking about it. One moment you are smashing out a round of Tekken, the next you are getting lost in a Mega Man run, and later you are drifting the corners of Forza or letting TRAP Radio handle the soundtrack in the background. It keeps the build fun, unpredictable and full of life.

Arcade – Tekken Takes Over

The arcade portion of Addon 004 is small but mighty. You get four key entries from the Tekken universe: Tekken, Tekken 2, Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament. These games are still among the best pick up and play fighters ever made. They load fast, the controls feel familiar and the combos stay satisfying no matter how many years have passed.

Running them inside Attract Mode gives Retro Arcade Portal a serious arcade punch. It is instant action that suits late night sessions, tournaments with mates or quick breaks between longer games.

Nintendo Entertainment System – Eight Bit Royalty

The NES section in Addon 004 is a nostalgia bomb. It highlights a mix of Adventure Island entries, the full Mega Man line up from one through to six, the evergreen Super Mario Bros trilogy and both DuckTales games. It is the kind of collection that reminds you why this era never fades.

The Mega Man titles stand out, offering tight platforming, brilliant bosses and a difficulty curve that still feels fair. The Mario games continue to be some of the most perfect platformers ever created. DuckTales and DuckTales 2 add charm and colour, and the Adventure Island set brings that classic island running, jumping and enemy dodging energy.

Inside Retro Arcade Portal these games load instantly and fit neatly within the clean wheel layout. It is a smart selection that adds real depth to the eight bit side of the build.

Sega Master System – A Bright Slice Of Retro Charm

The Master System additions are a mix of platformers, licensed adventures and old school arcade style challenges. The three Alex Kidd games provide that familiar Sega flavour, with Alex Kidd in Miracle World acting as the standout. Asterix, Battle Out Run, Casino Games and TransBot round out the list with simple, colourful and often overlooked titles that still hold up surprisingly well.

The Master System always brings a slightly different tone to any build. It is bright, quirky and sometimes rough around the edges, which makes it a great contrast alongside NES and Megadrive libraries. This addon embraces that charm without overloading the category.

Sammy Atomiswave – Fast, Flashy And Characterful

Addon 004 keeps the Atomiswave track running with another strong set of titles. Games like Clay Challenge, Guilty Gear Isuka, Knights of Valour Seven Spirits, Ranger Mission, Sports Shooting and Sushi Bar all return that crisp arcade feel that players love.

There are also both Extreme Hunting entries which always go down well thanks to their fast pace and simple controls. Atomiswave continues to be a nice mid point between the arcade and console selections in Retro Arcade Portal, and this pack keeps that vibe alive.

Sega Naomi – A Fighting Game Heaven

The Naomi additions follow a similar path, offering a full run of Guilty Gear titles including Guilty Gear X, Guilty Gear XX, Guilty Gear Isuka, Guilty Gear XX Accent Core, Guilty Gear XX Reload and Guilty Gear XX Slash. This gives Retro Arcade Portal one of the strongest fighting game collections across the entire build.

The animations, the style, the controls, everything about the Guilty Gear series shines when displayed through Attract Mode artwork and wheel art. If you enjoy fighters with flair, this is the section you will return to again and again.

Original Xbox – A Spread Of Big Titles With Character

The Xbox additions bring a mixture of creative platforming, action, driving and cult classics. Blinx The Time Sweeper provides one of the most unique platforming mechanics on the system. Forza Motorsport adds a proper racing backbone and includes the bonus Xbox Live Arcade content packed into that specific release. Halo 2 barely needs an introduction and remains one of the most important shooters of its era.

Psychonauts stands out as a beautiful and imaginative adventure, still praised for its creativity and storytelling. Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse brings humour, chaos and a cult following that makes Xbox lovers grin every time they see it appear in a collection.

Xbox 360 – Hits From A Modern Era

The 360 era arrives with a sharp punch thanks to Red Dead Redemption Game of the Year Edition, Skate 3, Street Fighter X Tekken, Tekken 6 and Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition. These games might sit outside the classic retro definition, but inside Retro Arcade Portal they feel like a natural evolution of the build.

They give players a reason to fire up more modern experience without swapping systems or booting into separate folders. The variety here is strong and brings a fresh dimension to the wheel.

PlayStation 2 – Heavy Action And Rhythm Classics

The PS2 list in Addon 004 is full of fan favourites. Def Jam Fight for NY remains one of the most beloved brawlers ever released. Guilty Gear X Plus adds another stylish fighter to the collection. Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock brings rhythm action energy, and SSX Tricky adds snowboarding flair that defined the early 2000s.

The pack continues with Naruto Ultimate Ninja 3, Rampage Total Destruction, Sengoku Basara 2 Heroes, Tekken 4, Tekken 5 and the chaotic brawler Tom and Jerry in War of the Whiskers. It is a brilliant slice of PS2 history that fits perfectly inside the Retro Arcade Portal theme.

TRAP Radio – Built In Stations For Background Vibes

Addon 004 also unlocks TRAP Radio, a set of in programme stations created specifically for Retro Arcade Portal. These channels are themed like classic late night FM broadcasts, complete with names such as Emotions 98.3, Fever 105, Flash FM, Fresh FM, Paradise FM, Vrock, Wave 103 and Wildstyle. They are designed to sit in the background while you browse the wheel or play your favourite systems.

Instead of feeling like a separate feature, TRAP Radio becomes part of the ambience of the build. You can leave a station running while you switch between Arcade, NES, Xbox or PS2, and the whole setup starts to feel more like a real digital arcade space than just a front end.

A Fresh, Mixed And Energetic Upgrade

Addon 004 exists to shake things up. It breaks away from the single system focus of earlier updates and instead embraces everything that makes retro gaming fun. It jumps from eight bit classics to rhythm action, from arcade fighters to open world stories and from light platformers to modern brawlers.

If you enjoy variety, nostalgia, creativity and the feeling of switching styles on the fly, Addon 004 is one of the most entertaining updates you can add to Retro Arcade Portal. It keeps the build alive, surprising and full of reasons to jump back in for one more game.
