Everything has been simplified! To make this a standalone game add-on under the PC Games category, I have included the necessary ‘PC Games’ menu and file structure for the ‘PC Games’ system/category in CoinOPS NEXT. That means you can simply enjoy this game in the proper PC Games system without having to worry about needing to download and install a giant PC Games base pack that you would have otherwise had to do. In other words, you don’t need to have the PC Games category already in your CoinOPS NEXT Build. Just drag, drop, and enjoy!
1) Please disable your antivirus before playing, or add an exception to your directory as, even when you download from the official Clone Hero website, the CloneHero.exe will get quarantined.
2) When you first start the game, you MUST go to SETTINGS>GENERAL>SCAN SONGS. This builds the appropriate cache folder for the included songs. Do this when you add future songs as well.
3) To download and add thousands and thousands of official rips as we as custom songs, visit:

4) Main menu navigation: Presst START and select a profile and begin using the menu. By default it works with a gamepad or guitar – for the keyboard, when you first start the game, press ENTER on your keyboard and then key A to select a player profile, and then use the arrow keys to navigate and key A for select and key S for back. You can also press the SPACE BAR to change all control mapping.
Clone Hero is a free guitar rhythm-based game modelled after Guitar Hero and RockBand style of games. You can also add your own custom songs!
It’s best played with a guitar controller, but can also be played with a keyboard or even gamepads.
I have added a handful of random songs, highways and static backgrounds, and video backgrounds to get you hooked!
There’s not much to say other than Have Fun!
(Oh, yea, I DEFINITELY recommend digging out and old plastic rock guitar to take this game to the next level!)
HOMEWORLD REMASTERED
This download is the full homeworld remastered collection including HW RM2, HW1 Classic and HW2 Classic…
In order to play these outside of CoinOPs go to ..CoinOPS NextcollectionsPC GamesromsHomeworld RemasteredHWLauncher and run ‘Launcher.exe’.
Create a shortcut to your desktop for ease of access.
I tried, but failed to get HW2 RM to run properly in CoinOPs but the above should work sweet on its own!
If any coders out there have a solution, please post in the coinops for pc forum so it can be implemented.

As per usual, just extract to the root of your CoinOps Next install – none of these packs have been tested nor converted to the new CoinOps Next 2 yet .
NOTE: Files are UNALTERED – Arcade Punks do NOT edit or alter any files or images – We may, on occasion Archive them up to save YOUR bandwidth but our extracted files are EXACTLY like the source (its very easy to CRC check) – People may say “DONT DOWNLOAD FROM APUNKS” but there is no real reason other than a bit of scene pettiness – if seeking support in their forums/discord ensure you DO NOT mention that you downloaded FOR FREE, WITHOUT HASSLE from Arcade Punks – it is EXACTLY the same files.
