RetroFE sure is becoming one of the BEST Front Ends, with a whole host of decent builds sat on top of it from CoinOps to Retro minis plus and now CORE AIO. This build is one of the most requested builds to date, and with a promised load of add-on packs to follow its sure to be a crowd pleaser!

The thinking behind “CORE” seems simple, no need to keep downloading gb/tb of data of the same ROMs and MEDIA, when you can just switch up the front end. The names behind this are well known within the scene, STAiNLESS, JonahUK, Htaed7 RCT, cgethycx/subliminal and wraith as well as kudos to Signum, jonjo, []v[] & all of the CORE Help Engine.

This build contains 25 of the best games for each system included, dont worry there are MANY more on the way for it!!

What is CORE?

CORE is a “theme manager” for the awesome RetroFE.

The CORE Discord has multiple themes from the RetroFE Forums converted and ready to download and drop in to CORE, with a menu wheel to switch between them on the fly.

That means if you feel like a change, you do not have to download hundreds of gb all over again or set up your media, emulators and roms in a new build, just switch themes or add a new one and use all the same media, roms and emulators still set up from the same location.

We are all about encouraging creative minded people to have a go at creating RetroFE themes to drop in to CORE and to upload to the RetroFE forum. If you are not so creative, we also encourage you to discuss and throw up some ideas/suggestions, someone who is creative may read it and do something for you
