Installing a Raspberry Pi inside the PlayStation Classic

YouTuber RETROCUTION shows us a very details guide in how to install a Pi into a Playstation classic, this isnt for n00bs, and you will need a few tools and be slightly solder capable – but the guide is so thorough and detailed that you should soon be able to make the ultimate mod……

In this video, I show you the method I came up with to cleanly install a Raspberry Pi 3 inside the PlayStation Classic! I decided to do this mod because I love the way the PlayStation Classic looks, but hate its terrible emulation performance and game selection. Now that I have a Raspberry Pi 3 inside of it, not only do I get the great looks of the PlayStation Classic shell, but also great emulation performance and way more games! I currently have about 350 games on my 512GB micro SD card, with 259GB of free space left! – Retrocution

Of course if emulation of Playstation is just not acceptable then you could always check out the original Playstation PSIO add-on, we had the opportunity to play with one recently and we LOVED it, it was 100% authentic because it was not emulated !! If your looking for a decent PSX Image for your Pi, you could always check out YBs 32gb Pi PSX Image, or the 64gb version. Also Rectrocution will be releasing his 512gb image within the next few days, and we’ll be all over that too!
