32gb Raspberry Pi 3b Image “King of” 2021 / 2022 image from Damaso

Damasos final image for the Raspberry Pi 3(b) back in December 2021 was a decent 32gb fully loaded image to “put the 3b to bed, before the 4 takes over”. Renewed links for October 2023.

Dust off that Rpi3, because Damaso is BACK and brings with him this cute pocket sized Raspberry Pi 3b image, a re-release of his “King of” image, but completely done over for 2021 and the start of 2022, here in this exclusive first look YouTuber and Retropie guru level1online gives it the once over and provides some expert advice on custom set up!

Before the Pi4 takes over the Retropie scene, I decided to make one final 32 gb image. “The King” of all 32gb images. This image is packed with various retro console collections and the biggest selection of CD based games (over 40) on a 32gb image. Image also includes hacks, homebrews and even OpenBOR (which you will need a keyboard plugged in to set-up controller inputs). Image is compatible with the Raspberry Pi3b and 3b+. The image also uses a custom version of “Infinity ” ES theme made by Ben Maes, which has been customized and tweaked by Coin Junkie All roms have been verified working, bezels have been added and all roms have been scrapped. NOTE…. This image is for those looking for a solid plug and play solution to Retropie. The Retropie script cannot be updated. It’s running an old version of Retropie 4.4, which has not been updated since October 2018. Which also means there are none of the newer scripts with bells and whistles added. Certain features like updating had to be sacrificed in order to get OpenBOR to work. This image is a great send off to the Pi3. – DAMASO
