512gb Batocera v39 Raspberry Pi 5 FINAL – BooBooMan

BooBooMan (Not BooHooMan) is like our personal quest master into the Raspberry Pi 5, we’ve seen a couple of variations of this build starting off as a 256gb Beta image then a v3 and now the final , which now fits on a 512gb Micro SD Card instead of a 256gb Card, we actually used this Samsung Evo Plus (u3) when we tested, not the cheapest, but a decent card nonetheless.

It’s Finally complete!

I have been waiting for the stable release on v39, and I’m still waiting! (in joke!)

I am done with the RPI5 now, Time to move on. Likewise, I may revisit it in v40 for updates and hopefully better performance (do yourself a favor and get a mini PC)

But for now it’s done, Total rebuild from the ground up – New Themes (Colourful/Booboomanpi and Booboomanpi Silent for non ravers :P) Games, Cleaner, Faster…

Wii games have been added with NGC controller support only.

Please remember this is still in Beta. Thing may/will be broken, Report issues and i will try and fix for later releases.
