CoinJunkie hits us again, this time with an awesome LOADED image at 64gb with his very own SynthWave theme and a feature packed Emulation Station Image, as well as some Dreamcast thrown in for good measure! Here we check out a first look at the image – with a little bit of COMIX ZONE game play thrown in for good measure! The video below from YouTuber deathr0w showcases the theme and not the build.

***EDIT*** – THIS HAS BEEN BROUGH BACK TO LIFE ON 6TH FEB 2024 – ORIGINAL POST WAS NOVEMBER 13TH 2017 – THANKS TO COINJUNKIE AND NINJAUK FOR BRINGING THIS BACK FOR A SHORT TIME!

I’m excited to share my SynthWave polished 64gb image with a whopping 41 consoles configured and 14,039 games!! Every console has it’s own custom loading screen that matches the theme I made and it has a SynthWave/Tron themed screensaver, kick-ass soundtrack, Kodi loaded with Elysium Plugin to stream movies/TV online, and much much more. It’s been shrunk to fit on all brands of 64gb SD cards using the amazing Slappy’s Pi Shrink, and controls have been reset so you won’t have any issues. I’ve done my best to make sure everything works great on it and I’m sure you’ll love it! I put game samples in all of the collections screens, but if you don’t want those screens you can disable them by pressing start, then collection settings. – COINJUNKIE

  1. Hi guys,
I downloaded this and was able to boot my Raspberry PI3B+ with it.
But my GPIO controllers (joysticks and buttons) are not recognised. It seems I can’t install mk_arcade_joystick_rpi (requires a kernel > 5.4), or GPIONext (Requires Pythin 3.7+)
Does anyone faced that issue and knows how to bypass this?
I just want to use my GPIO 🙂
    Cheers
