This is a fully bootable Batocera v40 Racing Build created by Nuclear_Fused, and massive thanks go to him for sharing it with the community. The build began life as a Honda 256GB Batocera base image and has been completely remixed into a pure racing collection. The Honda splash screens and underlying setup are still present, so it is best described as a remix rather than a full rebuild.
Nuclear_Fused removed all original ROM directories and replaced them with his own curated racing libraries, filling the card with as many racing titles as possible and scraping everything cleanly. The result is a focused and tidy race-only build that feels quick to use and keeps everything simple for low end hardware.
The download is around 238GB and is designed to run straight from a 256GB SD card with no installation. It was tested on a Dell Optiplex 7040 paired with an 8th gen i7, 8GB DDR4, and Intel UHD 630 integrated graphics, and it performed without issues. It is set up for a standard controller such as the 8BitDo Pro 2, although wheels also work without fuss.
This one is aimed at mini PCs, budget desktops, older office machines, and anyone who wants a clean racing library without the clutter of a full multi-system image. If you are into racers and want to breathe new life into a spare PC, this remix is well worth a look.
