Snake was first released in 1979 and was the original arcade game that was based on the animal. It was the starting point for a simple game that would go on to be enjoyed by millions and millions of players worldwide.

Since the humble beginnings of the original versions, technology has allowed developers to be able to create new titles that follow the same premise. Slither.io and Snake.io are two of the biggest to have been released, with both having been huge hits with players today.
They both feature immersive graphics and controls, with each game featuring multiplayer play. Players can compete with each other to climb the leaderboard and be the best in the world. As a result, there is not much difference between each title, and it can often be down to a player’s preference regarding which one is the best. Nonetheless, they have both remained very popular.
