The Virtual Boy is a portable console designed by Gunpei Yokoi (father of famous creations such as Game & Watch and Game Boy), which was released in August 1995 and became the greatest failure of Nintendo. With a 32-bit processor (portable history first to introduce such a processor, six years before the Game Boy Advance) and two screens in a glasses supported format on a tripod, the portable offering 3D graphics, in an attempt to take advantage fashion of "virtual reality" that plagued the world at the time.

In Brazil, according to the Computer Program Law No. 9,609 / 98, with regard to copyright protection, the only way a ROM is cool is when a person has the game (legally purchased) and uses the ROM in Backup computer as the original game.
