RICK DANGEROUS GREATEST GAMES IMAGE – Raspberry Pi 4 – 256gb – BEAST!!

He is becoming quite the name in the scene right now, Mr Rick Dangerous has just dropped a GREATEST GAMES, 256gb Powerful image for the Raspberry Pi 4 (tested on 4gb) – this is going to be one of your “go-to” images and is up there with the best of them!

Image is Overclocked by default

If you don’t want to overclock here is a guide to remove overclock

After writing your image with etcher eject your sdcard and insert into your pc again
open the boot partition and open the config.txt

change the below line

#uncomment to overclock the arm. 700 MHz is the default.
arm_freq=2000
gpu_freq=600
over_voltage=6

to the original

#uncomment to overclock the arm. 700 MHz is the default.
#arm_freq=800

Then save.

I also included the orginal config.txt in same folder. If you prefer to use that but it does not have disable 4k mode for 4k tv users.

1920x1080p resolution will work best with this Retropie setup – I recommended all users change Redream video settings to 800×600, I found this setting recently gives best performance.

bezels for arcade configured with this resolution and dos games – note bezels can easily be disabled if they dont fit to your screen and dosbox can be restored to original settings.

location optretropieconfigspcdosbox-SVNorginal.conf simply delete the dosbox-SVN.conf and rename

dosbox-SVNorginal.conf to dosbox-SVN.conf

the reason i modified this file as default dosbox resolution on retropie 4.6.1 with pi4 has issues with screen not centered this is a temp fix for now.
