This is a collection of 375 ZX Spectrum games, for the Retropie / Emulationstation system. This collection is DUAL purposed. It can be used in both classic EmulationStation AND Attract Mode.
The collection in numbers contains the following:
– A total of 375 games for the ZX Spectrum in .z80 format
– 375 images of in-game screenshots, for use in an appropriate theme
– 375 video in-game snaps
– 375 wheel PNG transparent images, for use in Attract Mode
– 1 gamelist.xml containing name, developer, publisher, year, description for each game
– 1 ZX Spectrum.txt romlist, for use in Attract Mode
This collection does NOT contain every ZX Spectrum game under the sun. The titles were handpicked
and they represent famous, award winning, popular and best selling entries. If you are a
hardcore ZX Spectrum fan, chances are that you will find 95% of your beloves ones in here.

HOW TO INSTALL THIS ON RETROPIE

Copy the contents of the folder “zxspectrum” file inside /home/pi/Retropie/roms/zxspectrum
If you are running EmulationStation, you are good to go.
If you are running Attract Mode, copy the /romlists/ZX Spectrum.txt inside your ./attract/romlists
Create a new emulator, pick the ZX Spectrum romlist, add a pinch of your favorite display, and you are done.
