Here at Arcade Punks, CoinOps Premium has always been the favourite on the original modded Xbox – However second favourite has always been Visionary , in this release (Visionary 5) which we had links submitted to us through our submit a link form – we believe it to be joint first place!

Released in October 2011 by Ace, who describes it as The Ultimate Player of Arcade Games/Console Games/Handheld Games/Computer Games/Xbox Games/Music/Movies/Pictures…all in the best GUI by far the Xbox has ever seen….lots more themes….4 times faster defaults….more features…more art…more refinements….support for many more games…tonnes of arcade and console fixes…vastly improved Arcade support….improved N64 support…Improved SNES and NES support….

Whilst we like to build our cabinets, bartops and tinker with Pi, and Hyperspin (as well as the countless other options out there), its always good to have an original Xbox floating around for some instant serious gaming fun, just plug it in and away you go, its a shame the ‘official add on’ packs for the later stuff like CoinOps 8 arent more publicly available (if they even exist) – however it is great fun making your own and help is always available over on the official CoinOp forums.

Be warned though, the forums are full of trolls, and as soon as you mention you have downloaded something from our website, they get all upset and wont play nicely with you because they believe we add programs to our downloads, which of course we dont, we only upload to more public places so people (like you) can download from.
