Almost a week ago Schmoomers dropped us a message with this awesome Pi 4 image attached, its fully loaded with hand picked titles from the man himself, overclocked (make sure you running a fan! – 2GHZ, 6V over voltage.) and running one of Hurstys tasty themes (uniflyered!). This is my vision of what a retro gaming system can and should be! Custom made video startup splash screens randomized. Custom made launching videos for each system included in this build (if you add your own systems, a default image will display instead). Over 100 Synth-wave instrumental songs from my personal collection play in the background while in game selection mode and pause and resume during game-play.

Every game is tested and working. This image isn’t bloated up with huge unplayable collections where you have to scroll for minutes to get from A – D, let alone M – Z. It’s all hand picked and it’s loaded with not just favorites, but hidden gems as well! I’ve even included a hidden EASTER EGG in place of one of the games!!

2,400 Games, CLEAN OPTIMIZED GAMELISTS!!! All sequels are numbered properly rather than mixed roman numerals and digits(huge task), properly named games, complete descriptions, box-art and video snaps loaded for all titles. Smooth presentation in Emulationstation with Hursty’s Uniflyered theme. 47 Custom collections all sorted.

I hope you enjoy all the hard work and late nights I’ve spent putting this together. Again, this is my personal build, my daily driver and I never had thoughts of putting it out there, but, the world is a shitty reality right now and if I can bring some joy to all of us through my retro gaming showcase, then I’m all in.
