• DOOM MODS:
  Use [gzdoom-dazi+] or [lzdoom-dazi+] to load mods from either /dev/shm/addon or /home/pi/RetroPie/roms/ports/doom/addon.
• Combining MODs?
  From EmulationStation:
  • Pick a WAD (e.g. MAYhem 2015) > Press A
  • Exit without launching
  • Pick a MOD (e.g. Brutal Doom Black Edition) > Launch
  • They’ll combine like magic 🪄
• Tweaking HUD Size?
  Use - or + on keyboard or adjust in Display Options > Screen Size (use level 10 or 11).
• GameCube/Wii?
  Use Dolphin GUI for full controller & hotkey setup. Works like a charm.
• Need WINE?
  Install via pi-apps (found under retropiemenu > Utilities > GIT pi-apps).

🛠️ Video Snap Delay Fix

If you’ve noticed delay in video previews in EmulationStation, it’s likely libvlc version related.

Use vlc-downgrade tool:

• Found in EmulationStation: retropiemenu > System Tools > VLC Downgrade ES
• Or via CLI: vlc-downgrade

🚨 Heads Up: Downgrading libvlc will pause apt installs. Reverse it later if needed, or reapply fix with ease.
