Wolfanoz is about to take some “personal” time, but said “Hey I cant just leave you with nothing, now can I?”….. The guy is either dropping awesome Single Board Computer images or getting involved in something or other retro gaming related, and in his latest and last (for a while) project, he shares with you this AWESOME Launchbox, BigBox Fully loaded build…
This front end is a fully loaded Launchbox front end with Big Box for your PC, coming in at an extracted size of around 2.6 TERRABYTES, its HUGE and going to take a while to download, we strongly advise downloading via Usenet if you can, as its constant, as fast as your internet line can handle and your not relying on if anyone else is seeding. See section below on downloading with Usenet. The video below shows the Launchbox (non-BigBox) interface.
You could really do with a BIG BOX License from Launchbox to fully appreciate this build, we did reach out to the developers at Launchbox whom we once had a relationship with, who ignored our messages for some kind of discount for anyone coming in via Arcade Punks, a disappointing result, for which we do not know nor fathom their reasons. You can get a BigBox license here. Heres the same system but with BigBox enabled via a license, showcasing ALL the systems on the build!
Its worth noting you will need all your usual dependencies , such as directx, visual c run-times and so on, its also worth noting that this works better on G: Drive installed as drive G, and has been tested on Windows 7 and 10. The system has also been configured to be used with an Xbox 360 controller for simple plug and play abilities!
There are currently 3 ways to download this, via the provided torrent (See below) , via the provided NZB file for Usenet (see below) or via a direct download from the Members Only FTP Server.
Grab the torrent and load it up in your favourite torrent client (we strongly advise) tixati – due to the size of the files in total some clients MAY struggle when loading the torrent in (rutorrent on seedboxes seem to have some issues depending on provider – however deluge proved to be fine on those who struggled).
MEMBERS DIRECT DOWNLOAD
NZB VIA USENET
This is by far our favourite, quickest method of downloading, we have used the downloader alt.binz and the NZB did take a while to load, but once it loaded it went ahead and raced itself down the line, all complete within a day of being live and better still, not relying on anyone seeding, just pure fifthly fast-as-fuck unrestricted download. You will of course need a Usenet Account and need to set up the downloading software, but this is worth it – 90% of Arcade Punk releases are landing on Usenet (see our NZB section, but also some downloads are EXCLUSIVE to usenet only!).
We recommend taking a trial with any of the following DECENT usenet providers UsenetServer, Newshosting, Easynews , Pure Usenet or XLNed, most of these providers also throw in a FREE VPN, which is always a bonus in todays browsing day and age!
Our friend Wolfanoz is taking a well earned break, just check out some of his recent projects, and you’ll see the man has been working it 9 to 5, his personal circumstances have just changed (for better) so he is taking a bit of a time out, knowing he wanted to leave this with y’all before doing so, like he has said he will idle in our dedicated forum.
Here you can find a dedicated forum where you can ask every type of question, share your issues, ask for help, share your help, improvements and such, please ask everything form downloading issues to controller issues and whatever you feel is worth sharing with others! Dedicated forum HERE
You will need to download this at around 2.4tb , and then extract it to somewhere, ideally the root of a drive, preferably drive G:
So a HUGE thank you to Wolfanoz and we wish him all the best in whatever he is moving onto for the time being, and hope to see him again some day in the future – thanks Wolf from all of us here at Arcade Punks…
