Its here, and what a Christmas eve itis !! – The very first public 512gb Fully Loaded Raspberry Pi 5 image, and what better destination than RIGHT HERE on Arcade Punks, home of the Pi (and other) loaded images!!
This build did not come from the usual sources, but rather being contacted directly by 2Girls1Pi who didn’t give much away about the image, other than Download, Write, Set Controller, Play !! We were VERY excited to drop this onto our 1tb Micro SD Card (we might want to add to it! and we are very dubious of what 512gb card this was burnt to – so we advise a 1tb card!) and get this loaded up in our fresh Raspberry Pi 5 (8gb model).
Fully loaded with all your classic systems plus :-
- The Game Cube
- Wii
- PlayStation 2
- and some beefed up arcade!
This is a VERY early release and there are going to be some bugs, but we have a dedicated area on our Forums for you guys to share your fixes, thoughts and so on, RIGHT HERE.
Played a bit of GTA San Andreas on PS2 and it worked like a charm !!
UPDATE (27th December 2023): It appears the source of this image is some dodgy website that SELLS these images – having used this image, we truly hope no one has purchased it – and purely downloaded it from here and taken it for its face value “EARLY BETA” release (as mentioned) and enjoyed the free download to experience some of what the Pi 5 has to offer, we have another image, 256gb Batocera Image for Pi5 we are going to share too, from the same release group and it looks like this too may have come from the same source – watch this space!

if i run the image it stzarts on half of the screen on my 4 k. SSH is enabled but I dont know username / password
