Game Night Add-on #4 is now here, bringing a curated collection of popular handheld gaming systems to BygDick’s ever-expanding Game Night RetroBat PC build. This add-on focuses on handheld favourites from Nintendo, Sega, Sony and Atari, with a carefully selected game library based on popularity, performance and a few personal favourites from BygDick himself.
It may be one of the smaller expansions in the Game Night line-up, but it still packs in plenty of portable retro gaming fun with a download size of just under 36GB.
A Curated Handheld Gaming Collection
Unlike some of the larger Game Night expansions, this one is all about handheld gaming. BygDick has hand-picked the included games to create a collection that performs well, plays great and offers a strong mix of well-known classics and standout favourites.
Each collection in this add-on has its own dedicated emulator, making it easy to integrate into the existing Game Night setup or even add to your own collection if you know what you are doing.
As with the other Game Night releases, help videos are included in the read me folder to guide you through the process.
Systems Included in Game Night Add-on #4
This handheld add-on includes the following nine systems:

- Handhelds – Nintendo Game Boy
- Handhelds – Nintendo Game Boy Advance
- Handhelds – Nintendo Game Boy Color
- Handhelds – Sega Game Gear
- Handhelds – Sony PSP
This gives you a great spread of portable gaming history, from the early days of the Game Boy and Atari Lynx right through to more advanced handheld systems such as the Nintendo 3DS and Sony PSP.
Base Build Required
The main Game Night base build must be downloaded first.
Once the base build is installed, you can then add this handheld pack to your setup. As originally intended by BygDick, you can also choose to install any or all of the previous add-ons alongside it.
This makes Add-on #4 a nice flexible expansion for anyone wanting to build out the Game Night setup with more console variety and portable gaming favourites.
Installation Notes
Installation is straightforward:
- Download the main Game Night base build first.
- Download Game Night Add-on #4.
- Unzip and extract the files to the Game Night root folder.
- Open Game Night\collections\Main\menu.txt.
- Add the handheld collection names to the menu file so they appear in the front-end menu.
The order you place the systems in the menu.txt file determines the order they will appear in the Game Night menu.

You can copy and paste the following collection names directly into your Game Night\collections\Main\menu.txt file:
- Handhelds-Atari Lynx
- Handhelds-Nintendo 3DS
- Handhelds-Nintendo DS
- Handhelds-Nintendo Game & Watch
- Handhelds-Nintendo Game Boy
- Handhelds-Nintendo Game Boy Advance
- Handhelds-Nintendo Game Boy Color
- Handhelds-Sega Game Gear
- HandHelds-Sony PSP
Wherever you place them in the list is where they will show up within the Game Night front-end menu.
