This is the CP78 All Hits No Shits Front End LB Edition. 78 platforms with 2500 games complete with full media for your PC , including light gun games and some much higher spec systems such as Wii-U, Xbox (OG) and Xbox 360 and many more! CP78 was originally built on Attract Mode but now comes to Launchbox/ Bigbox, yes you have to pay for it (BigBox) to experience the full benefits but the free version (Launchbox) works fine too!!! I have used the best and latest emulators and only included the best games as I’m not sure who would play the likes of the ‘Family Dog’ on the SNES! CP78 is fully functioning, work out of the box complete solution for the novice and expert alike!
Hopefully you will get as much fun from playing retro games as I do. My aim has always been to bring people and families together for their love of games and especially Retro Games!
Not only do I provide this build for free but provide full support on my discord which you can join here: https://discord.gg/hY46Y9
CP78 is fully integrated with RocketLauncher which enables seamless transition between CP78 Front End and emulators and offers a level of customization not possible with just a Front End. – While a lot of the media is created by myself a lot is made by RetroHumanoid. The theme used and lots of the RocketLaucnher Media like fades are created by him and you can check out his website here: https://retrohumanoid.weebly.com/
As this build is based on emulation some games may have glitches or issues which is just part and parcel
The highest specs needed is for Yuzu (Nintendo Switch) and they can be found here: https://yuzu-emu.org/
You can get news of Updates, Patches and New Packs on my You Tube Channel located here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCX0rCEx0wj9Nxzg4SXasbQA
Important note- This build uses Gameloader 333 (latest version) portable mode which means it should work out of the box and shouldn’t affect any version you have in app data. However, this is Gameloader so any issue please use my Discord for support

Install Guide
-
Disable your antivirus or exclude relevant extraction path and install drives for CP78 LB Edition. CP78 LB Edition needs to be installed on H drive (it may work on another drive letter but I recommend H drive)
-
Download CP78 LB Edition and Extract to the root H drive so all 5 folders are in the root of the drive
-
Install the required runtime files including Direct X9 located here: H:\ LaunchBox\Utilities\PREP TOOLS\Visual Studio & Direct x Runtimes
- For Yuzu you need some files to make it work which you can download HERE
-
Copy the content of the Yuzu.zip to “C:\Users\YOUR USER NAME\AppData\Roaming. You may need to enable hidden folders in Folder Options to be able to see the folder App Data.
-
Install the Bebas Nueue font needed for RocketLauncher located here: H:\RocketLauncher\Media\Fonts
-
Enjoy and Play
-
Note you may need to run each emulator once to embed it into your system if it doesn’t load 1st time. This is especially true for RCPS3. Open up the emu and load each game first to create the relevant PPU and SPU modules.
-
Cemu requires Graphics Packs to be selected by opening up the emulator and selecting a game and then activating the required Graphics Pack.
-
Arcade PC games need to be launched outside of Front end by going into each game folder and double clicking on GameloaderRH.exe
Troubleshooting
Arcade PC and Gameloader: If games don’t load or you get an error the try the following:
Give each exe in the game folder admin rights
When you set up controller/s make sure they are plugged in and on when starting game
Change compatibility mode to the relevant mode suggested for Gameloader.exe in the properties menu.
Unplug any Bluetooth device connected and try again
Open up Gameloader Config.exe in each game and reset the language.ini to default found in option 3 tab
You can download the Gameloader files HERE if you need them.
If portable mode is causing issues you can switch to normal mode by opening up the config.exe in each game folder and selecting Other 3 tab then click change to normal mode. You can use this video to help you set up Gameloader from there:
