The Boys are back in town, PRoPS, Galisteo & Alekfull are already back on it since their Raccoonbox for the Raspberry Pi 3, in 32gb, 64gb and 128gb sizes, they have now done the same for the Raspberry Pi 4, again in all 3 sizes…

As promised, Galisteo Games, Alekfull and PRoPS have returned with the RACCOONbox for the Raspberry Pi4. This Recalbox 7.1.1 based image was originally developed for earlier systems. However, the three have revisited the image with a couple of improvements. With great attention to detail they’ve answered the fans of Arcade Punks and DrewTalks by contributing RACCOONbox v2.

Raspberry Pi has evolved since its debut. And because of it’s new quad processor, this image takes advantage of the Raspberry Pi4’s capabilities by adding ATOMISWAVE and NAOMI systems to the long list of consoles.

Other systems such as Sega Saturn, Nintendo Gamecube and Atari Jaguar don’t operate as smoothly so the team didn’t bother to include them. As always, Galisteo Games insures: 99% games are tested 100% MAME games are tested Netplay (online games) are configured.

Reset all gamelist.xml (with HASH, MD5 and color adjustments) Adjusted all game images, halving the space occupied. Added videos (snaps) on some games and systems. Separated BR, JP and HACK games into subfolders, improving system performance. More division of MAME games into producers. Insertion of the nucleus fbneo in the system MAME (tip Retro Rock Games).
